Okay, so this is a bit late. Well, a lot late, actually. Voyage of the Damned was an amazing success, and I managed to watch it on Christmas! (For once.) Being in the US, as soon as it had aired in the UK, I scrounged the internet, looking for it, and I had managed to download a copy by 8:00 in the evening! It was a very good episode. Astrid was a good companion, I loved Bannakaffalatta, the Hosts were funny, ("Information: You are all going to die.") and the final goodbye was one of the sweetest ones I've ever seen. "You're not falling, Astrid. You're flying!" I do think that the Doctor needs to stop kissing everybody he meets, but I forgive him for this one. It was love at first sight, and she reminded me of Rose, so maybe she reminded him of Rose as well.
I am looking forward to Season 4, and it will be fun to see how the Doctor and Donna get along. "That friend of yours, right before you lost her, did she slap you?"
